How it Works

We host a league for all ability levels at our Midtown (70 West 36th Street) and Downtown (160 Broadway) locations. You schedule your matches according to your own availability and preferred location.

The league runs continuously throughout the year and no membership at SquashRx is required.

Format:

• We use a "box league" format that matches players of similar ability and provides everyone the opportunity to earn "promotion" to a higher skill level. Results are submitted to help you generate a US Squash rating.

• You join the league for three, one month rounds at a time.  When you sign up, you’ll be assigned to a group of three other players of similar ability for your first round. 

• You have one month to complete the round by playing a match with each of the other players in your group.  You can schedule your matches whenever the courts are available.

• At the end of the first month, the groups are redrawn for the second round based on match results.  

• After the second round, the groups are redrawn a final time for the last round.  This means at the end of the three month league period, each participant will have played at least nine matches. 

Credits & Refunds:

• If for any reason you weren’t able to play all nine of your matches during the league period, you will be given credits for those matches that you can use to book court time time on your own.  The credits are valid for 180 days. 

Level & Ability:

• The league is open to players of all levels. If you can serve and you know the basic scoring/rules, you should feel free to join. If you're not sure, try a private lesson with one of our professional instructors to get you up to speed.

• Experienced players can also expect to be challenged. Our top players typically have a US Squash skill rating of about 4.5.
